Louise Martsolf

SOUTH BEND-Services for Louise Martsolf, 89, of Gurley, Ala., formerly of South 32nd Street, who died at 8:30 am Saturday in Westside Nurshing Home, Huntsville, Ala., will be at 1 pm Wednesday in HIckey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.  Friends may call one hour before services Wednesday in the funeral home.  Mrs. Martsolf retired from Studebaker Corp.  She was born April 12, 1903, in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of her life.  On July 2, 1921, in South Bend, as Louise Landuit, she married Gerald R. Martsolf.  He died in 1950.  She is survived by a daughter, Effie Lee of Gurley; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Florence Hupp and Alma Geissel, both of South Bend, and Florence Maenhout of Granger.  A son, Gerald A., preceded her in death.  She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Source: South Bend Tribune, Mon, February 22, 1993, B6.
