Louis Matchette
   Louis Matchette, 73, of Rt. 1, North Webster, Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 4;30 a.m. Sunday in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., following a five-month illness. Born Feb. 2, 1902 in Pierceton, Ind., Matchette lived in Mishawaka from 1913 to 1962, when he moved to North Webster. He was a 1962 retiree of Wheelabrator Frye, Corp. On Sept. 29, 1928 in Warsaw, Ind., he married Josephine Waletzko, who survives.
   Also surviving are five sons, Paul of South Bend, Edward of Marana, Ariz., Ronald of Fort Wayne, Sydney of League City, Tex, and Dennis of Philomath, Ore.; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and a brother, Dean F. of Fort Myers, Fla. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and all day Tuesday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home.
