Mrs. Mabel Matchette

 

Mrs. Mabel Matchette, age 70 of 217 North Spring Street,

died at 5:15 o’clock Sunday morning in her residence

after an illiness of three months.  She lived here 20 years.

 

Born in Algonac, Mich., May 13, 1863, she was married as

Miss Mabel Alice Warner to William C. Matchette in

St. Clair County, Michigan, 52 years ago.  She came to

Mishawaka from Warsaw, Ind.

 

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Alice Warner of Algonac; four

Sons, Jesse and Owen of rural route No. 2, Mishawaka;

Deane and Louis of rural route 1, Mishawaka.  Fifteen

Grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren also survive.

A brother, Walter Warner, lives in Algonac.

 

The body may be viewed in the Fred H. Bubb chapel and

Funeral services will be conducted from there Tuesday afternoon at

2:30 o’clock.  Rev. M. E. Hawkins, D. D., pastor of the First Baptist

church will officiate and burial will be in Fairview cemetery

Mrs. Mabel Matchette, age 70, of

217 N. Spring street, died early Sunday morning in her home. 

She leaves her mother, Mrs. Alice Warner of Algonac, Mich.,

Four sons, Jesse and Owen, of rural route No 2, Mishawaka,

Deane and Louis of rural route No 1, Mishawaka, and a brother,

Walter Warner of Algonax.  Funeral services were held

Tuesday afternoon in the Fred H. Bubb chapel, Rev. M. E. Hawkins

in charge, and burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
