Mrs. Dean F. Matchette
     Mrs. Myrtle Ellen Matchette, 70, of 10226 McKinley Hwy., Osceola,  died at 2: 12 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital, South Bend, where she had been a patient for two days. She had been in failing health for several years. Born in Mishawaka on July 22, 1898, she had lived her lifetime in Mishawaka and Osceola. As Myrtle Ellen Woolet, she married Dean F. (Ted) Matchette in this city on Nov. 14, 1918. He survives along with four sons, Darrell D., Richard L. Matchette, both of Elkhart; Dale E. and M. Wayne Matchette of Osceola; two daughters, Mrs. Gale F. Gunter of Mishawaka; and Mrs. James F. Cook of Osceola; two brothers, Vernon Woolet and Marion Woolet, both of Mishawaka; a sister, Mrs. Ernest Hamman of Mishawaka; one granddaughter, Mrs. Cathy Schaap of Cambridge, Mass.,  whom she raised, and 23 other grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Rev. Clyde Burris. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
