MISHAWAKA - Pauline C. Mathews, 83, of 1018
E. Broadway St., died at 9:10 p.m. Friday in Meridian Nursing
Center-Cardinal. Mrs. Mathews was born Jan. 13, 1913, in
Adairville, Ky.
In 1931, in Kentucky, as Pauline Hallman,
she married James Mathews. He died Sept. 12, 1965. Surviving are
three daughters, Peggy Champion and Deloris Mathis,
both of Mishawaka, and Stella Mason of Elkhart; a son,
James of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday
in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Granger. Friends
may call from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel
North, 3910 N. Main St.
