Brothe Edwin “Albert” Mattingly CSC, 75, of Holy Cross Brothers Center, died Saturday in Dujarie House at the Brothers Center. He entered the Congregation of Holy Cross on Aug. 15, 1936; made temporary vows on Aug. 16, 1937; and final vows on Aug. 16, 1940. He was assigned to Father Gilbault School for Boys in Terre Haute, Ind. and also taught in high schools in South Bend; Evansville; Lakewood, Ohio. Milwaukee; Rolling Prairie; Monrovia, Libera and Holy Cross College. He was born June 4, 1918 in Indianapolis. He was principal of Central Catholic High School, South Bend, from 1950 to 1952 and was director of Bird Control Inc., Rolling Prairie

 

Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Chapel, Holy Cross Brothers Center, with burial at 9:a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may cal after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.
