SOUTH BEND -- William L. Maupin, 90, died Wednesday morning, August 22, in the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend. William served our country during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Doloras Morgan Maupin; a daughter, Nancy (Ben) Suetkamp, of Granger; and a son, Robert (Sharon) Morgan, of Edwardsburg, Michigan. Also surviving William are three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, Lucy Silguero.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon, Saturday, August 25, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka. Funeral services honoring William's life will held at noon. Burial is to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend.
