Rev. Patrick McBride CSC, 65 of the University of Notre Dame, died in the community infirmary there this morning. He was born in New Yory City July 25, 1884, and entered Holy Cross Seminary at Notre Dame in 1905. He had studied in Canadian universities. He took his provincial vows in 1908 and was ordained to the priesthood on July 31, 1910. He taught at the university for several years, and served for some time as registrar. His brother, Rev. Frank McBride CSC, was for many years professor of moral theology at Holy Cross College in Washington DC. He died two years ago.

Funeral rites will be conducted Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Community Cemetery, both on the campus of the university.
