Lena M. McCuddy
June 19, 1899 - July 11, 2001
Lena M. McCuddy, 102, formerly of
Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 10:12 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, in
Memorial Medical Center, Ashland, Wis. Lena was born on June 19,
1899, in Chrisman, Ill., and had lived in Mishawaka from 1919
until 1995 when she moved to Ashland. Lena was preceded in death
by her parents; her husband, Guy McCuddy; and by her son, Charles
McCuddy.
She was a 50-year member of the Milburn
Blvd. Church of Christ, past president of the PTA of LaSalle
School, was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine of
Jerusalem, Mishawaka Campfire Council, and the Mishawaka Women's
Club where she was once named Woman of the Year. She was also
employed for many years at Ball Band.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Kelly
L. Carlson and Shonna L. Sann, both of Ashland; a
daughter-in-law, Tonna McCuddy of Ashland; and by two nieces,
Margerat McKenzie and Emma Kelly, both of South
Bend, Ind.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the
Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where
friends may call from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Burial
will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
