Services for Sister M. Diomira, CSC, 105, of Saint Mary’s Convent, who died at 4 p.m. Sunday in the convent, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in The Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3:30 today in St. Mary’s Convent where a wake will be at 7 p.m.

 

She was born July 21, 1884 as Anna McCue in Boise, Idaho. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on May 16, 1907, coming from Boise. She was received as a novice on July 16, 1907, and professed her vows on Aug. 15, 1910. She was a teacher and assigned to secondary schools throughout Indiana, including South Bend, Fort Wayne, Anderson and Michigan City. She also taught in Morris, Ill.; Texas; Maryland, Idaho; Pennsylvania and Washington DC.

 

Editor: She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sister M. Majella CSC of St. Mary’s and Sister M. Sienna CSC of St. Mary’s.
