Services for Sister Miriam Gerard McCue CSC, 74, of Saint Mary’s Convent, who died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Medical Center, will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Church of Loretto, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary’s Convent, where a wake will be at 7 p.m.

She was born Sept. 14, 1915 in Boise, Idaho as Justine Frances McCue. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on July 2, 1934 in Boise; was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1935; and professed her vows on Feb. 2, 1937.She was assigned to teaching in schools conducted by the Sisters of Holy Cross in California, Idaho and Utah. She came to St. Mary’s Convent in 1985.
