John W. McGee

John W. McGee, 80, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind. John was formerly of Southwood Court, Mishawaka before moving in with his daughter on Seventh Street. On Nov. 16, 1968, in Mishawaka, he married Betty Brentlinger, who passed away on Feb. 10, 1997. John is survived by two daughters, Sanna Kay Callaway of Mishawaka and Karen Sue Sharp of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, Gary L. McGee of Friendswood, Texas; a stepson, Daniel A. Brown of San Diego, Calif.; and by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. John was a veteran of World War II in the Army.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Josh Quarandillo officiating. Burial will take place in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
