SOUTH BEND - Ralph E. McGee, 88, of 34th Street, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Mr. McGee retired from the Mishawaka License Branch. He was born Nov. 9, 1906, in Streator, Ill., and lived in South Bend most of his life.
On Oct. 23, 1937, in South Bend, he married Margaret B. Larson. She survives with a daughter, Marilyn Jo Elliott of Park Forest, Ill.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Isabel Yendro and Hazel Berry, both of Streator. He was a member of Elks Lodge 235, Mishawaka.
Services will be at noon Saturday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Heart Association.
