Sister Albana McGrath CSC

Sister Albana CSC, whose worldly name was Margaret McGrath, died Wednesday morning after a 10-day illness with pneumonia. She was born in Boston, Mass. in 1842. In 1974 she entered St. Mary’s Academy and took her vows a few years later. For several years she was superior of a school in Watertown, Wis.

 

Services were held at the Convent chapel at St. Mary’s this morning and burial was in the community cemetery at St. Mary’s College and Academy.
