Elizabeth Ellen McIntee

Mrs. James P. McIntee, aged 76, of 205 North Towle avenue, died at 5 p.m. Friday in her home after an illness of a year.

 

Mrs. McIntee was born in Providence, Ill., April 17, 1874, and moved here from Bradford, Ill., 24 years ago.

 

As Elizabeth Ellen Canty she married Mr. McIntee 54 years ago, in Bradford.

Surviving are her husband, three sons, Daniel and J. Paul McIntee, of Mishawaka; John McIntee, of South Bend; and two daughters, Katherine at home and Mrs. Carl Wray, of South Bend. Another daughter, Mrs. Julia Early, died a few years ago. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Thallemer funeral home after 9 a.m. Sunday and until the funeral services which will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rev. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Catholic cemetery.

 

The Rosary society will meet at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Monday to recite the rosary.
