Donald Edward McIntyre

March 27, 1901 – December 27, 1962               

Donald Edward McIntyre, 61, of 3022 Sunnymede Ave., died at 6:30am today in his home.  A retired Oliver Corp. employee, he had a heart ailment for two years.

He was born on March 27, 1901, in South Bend and married the former Frances Bruggner on November 27, 1927, in Mishawaka.  She survives with a son, Dennis, at home; two brothers, Edward and Walter, and a sister, Miss Catherine McIntyre, all of South Bend.

Friends may call at the McGann Funeral Home after 7pm today.  Funeral services will be at 9:30am Saturday in St Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Murphy, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  The rosary will be recited at 8pm Friday in the funeral home.
