ROBERT W. McKENZIE

       Memorial services for Robert W. (Bob) McKenzie, 95, of Fayetteville, Texas and formerly of Tucson, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Feb 25, at the West End Baptist Church in Industry with Rev. Dennis Keen officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at the Tucson Memorial Park in Tucson Ariz.       McKenzie died Sunday, Feb. 20 in an Austin Hospital.   He was born July 8, 1909 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Robert F. and Florence “Pink” Mckenzie. A  merchant seaman  in his early years, he was resident of Long Beach, Calif. Where he retired as a test engineer for McDonnell-Douglas in 1975 and moved to Tucson. He moved to Fayetteville in 1997. He was a member of the West End Baptist Church in Industry and the Seniors Sunday School class, a member of the National Poets Society, was an oil painting artist and an avid traveler his entire life.   Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Stall and Husband Harold of Fayetteville and Bettie Joy Karasek and husband Bill of Grove, Okla.; six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his wife Vadeen McKenzie in 1984; one daughter Barbara Jones; one grandson, Kenny Ray Feichtner; one sister, Katherine Hearrell; and one brother, Raymond McKenzie.   Memorials may be made to the Caleb Missions c/o West End Baptist Church, Industry, TX  78944.   Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home of LaGrange, TX. was in charge of arrangements
