Bobbie Jean McLeod

Bobbie Jean Mc Leod, 73, of West 14th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Bobbie was born on Jan. 27, 1931, in Brookland, Ark., as the daughter of the now late Oral and Dora (Rupard) Stalcup. On Dec. 9, 1950, in Brookland, she married Bobby G. Mc Leod, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Karen Pletcher of Mishawaka; a son, Gary (Keli) Mc Leod of Winona Lake, Ind.; two grandchildren, Stephanie Slaton and Austin Mc Leod; one great-grandchild, Amanda Slaton; three sisters, Irene Pauls of Arkansas, Dorothy (Bud) Cooper and Betty (James) Veteto; a brother, T.H. Stalcup, all of Jonesboro, Ark.; and a niece, Laura Myers of Mishawaka. Bobbie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling and reading whenever she had the time. Bobbie will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Friends and family may visit today, June 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka, with Pastor Brad Windlan officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Osceola, Ind. Contributions may be made in memory of Bobbie to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
