MISHAWAKA - After a lengthily illness, Gloria Lee McLoughlin, 74, passed away peaceably at the home of her daughter in Reno, NV, on July 3, 2008. Gloria was born Dec. 3, 1933, in Mishawaka, IN, to John and Sevilla (Rush) Kronewitter. On July 24, 1935, Gloria's mother married John D. May, who adopted Gloria and raised her as his own.

Gloria graduated from Mishawaka High School with the class of 1952, and on February 27, 1953, she married Raymond A. Celie. After raising her family, Gloria married Michael McLoughlin and lived in San Jose, CA, for 12 years and then New Rochelle, NY, for nine years before returning in 1990 to retire in Mishawaka. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, on February 21st of this year, and by her sister, Patricia (May) Pauline of Cleveland, OH, on April 27, 1972. Gloria is survived by a daughter, Patti Meek of Reno, NV; two sons, Raymond Celie of Fort Wayne, IN, and Mike Celie of Mishawaka, IN; a grandson, Matthew Meek; a granddaughter, Heather Celie; and a brother, John May of Osceola.
