Evelyn McMillan

Mrs. C. Kenneth McMillan, aged 33, of 1407 South Michigan street, South Bend, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph hospital.  She had been in ill health for several years and death followed a heart attack. 

 

Mrs. McMillan was born Sept. 22, 1910, in Bremen, Ind.  She came to Mishawaka about 15 years ago from Bremen where she lived until about six months ago, when she moved to South Bend.  As Miss Evelyn Forsythe, she married Mr. McMillan 10 years ago.

 

Surviving are her husband; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Jess Forsythe, of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Dorsch, of Mishawaka, and Norma Jane Forsythe, of South Bend, and her grandparents, Mrs. Elizabeth Drew, of Bremen, and Mrs. N. A. Nicholas, of Mishawaka.

 

Friends may call at Sprague chapel, Mishawaka, until the funeral services which will take place at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel.  Rev. C. C. Burnett, pastor of the South Bend Gospel Tabernacle, will officiate and burial will be in the Bremen cemetery. 

 

She was a member of the South Bend Gospel Tabernacle.
