Frank Lee McMillan

Mishawaka - A lifetime resident of Mishawaka, Frank Lee McMillan, aged 67, of 206 Prairie avenue, died at 9:05 a.m. today in his home after an illness of two years.  He was born in Mishawaka, April, 2, 1882, and married Miss Addie Cobbler here on Dec. 27, 1904.  She survives.

 

Mr. McMillan was well known in Mishawaka, having had a milk route at the Mishawka Farmer’s dairy for several years.  He also worked at the Bendix Aviation plant, South Bend, and was a custodian at First Methodist church for two years.  He was a member of First Christian church and treasurer of the Philanthropic Social League, Inc., Chapter No. 2.

 

Surviving other than his wife are one son, Claude D. McMillan, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Cox and Mrs. Ray Termont, and two brothers, Glenn D. and James H. McMillan, all of Mishawaka.

 

Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Bent and Sprague chapel.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Frank Lee McMillan, aged 67, of 206 Prairie avenue, who died Monday, will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bent & Sprague chapel.  Rev. Maynard S. Kulp, pastor of the Twin Branch Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial park. 

 

Pallbearers will be Paul E. McCombs, Milo McClure, Ralph and Laverne Tuttle, Russell Hopper and Melvin Keiser.
