Lucinda Ruth McMillan

Mishawaka - Mrs. Lucinda Ruth McMillan, 85, of 1115 E.3^rd, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Golden Age Manor nursing home, following a long illness.  Born in Fulton County, Ind., on Aug. 30, 1893, she had lived here most of her life, coming from Fulton County. 

She retired from the former George Wheelock Co., South Bend, after 34 years of employment. 

As Lucinda Ruth Packard, she married James McMillan on Jan. 29, 1913, in Mishawaka.  He died on Nov. 2, 1975.

Surviving are three nieces and two nephews.  Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday.  Rev. R. LaVerne Ervin, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate. 

Memorial will be in City Cemetery. 

Mrs. McMillan was a member of the First Christian Church and Chapter 267, Order of Easter Star.
