Services for Rev. Michael McQuillan, CSC, 79, of Holy Cross House, Notre Dame, who died at 7:4 a.m. Wednesday in his residence, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross House, Douglas Road, Granger.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Community Cemetery, Notre Dame.
Friends may call at Holy Cross House, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. McQuillan was a member of the English Canadian Province of Holy Cross, headquartered in St. Catherine, Ontario.
He was born Nov. 29, 1912 in County Monaghan, Ireland. He entered Holy Cross in Le Mans, France in 1933; made final profession in 1937; and was ordained to the priesthood in 1939.
He served parishes in Great Britain, Scotland, Quebec, Ontario, France and Ghana.
He is survived by a sister, Margaret MacArdle of County Monaghan; and a brother, Thomas, of County Down, Northern Ireland.
