Robert P. Medich, 79, of Oak Road, South Bend, Ind., died Saturday, Aug. 3, at Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Medich was born May 9, 1917, in Flint, Mich.; and had lived in the South Bend area most of his life. Mr. Medich was a former employee of the Studebaker Corporation.

On Oct. 26, 1957, he married Rose M. Corthier, who passed away Oct. 28, 1995.

Mr. Medich is survived by three daughters, Mari Tiseo, June Troxel and Toni Kolczynski, all of South Bend; a stepson, Thomas Osborn of South Bend; one grandchild; six step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; five sisters, Dorthy Medich, Della Stevanovic, Vera Vranic, all of Merryville, Ind. and Mary Gardini and Betsy Corthier, both of South Bend, Ind.; and two brothers, Dan Medich and Val Medich, both of South Bend.

Private family services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 7. Memorial contributions may be at donor's choice. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
