John Meissner

1874 – April 16, 1938

The funeral of John Meissner, 407 East Paris Street, will take place at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church, in charge of its pastor, Rev. Theodore Kleinhans.  Burial will be in Bowman cemetery.

Friends will be received in the residence of Mrs. Arthur Koerth, a niece, of 915 South 30th street, until the funeral. 

Surviving Mr. Meissner are four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Herod, Boston, Mass.; Mrs. George Hawblitzel, Lakeville, this county; Mrs. Caroline Mullett, this city, and Miss Emma Meissner, San Bernardino, Calif., and two brothers, Charles Meissner, Mishawaka, and F.W. Meissner, this city.  Two nephews, Harold C. Meissner, this city and Laird Mullett, Lafrayette, Ind. and one niece, Mrs Koerth, this city, also survive.
