The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur W. Mell Jr., 1014 Barbarry Lane, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital.  He was born Dec. 31.  Besides the parents survivors are a sister, Sandra Lee; a brother, Arthur: the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Mell Sr., and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kauffman, all of South Bend.  Services were to be held a 3:30 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, Rev. George Schuette, pastor of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Officiating.  Burial was to be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
