SOUTH BEND - Lucille B. Mendlikowski, 77, passed away on Monday, Nov. 12, at 1:45 P.M. in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Lucille was born on Jan. 17, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Henrietta (Wawrzyniak) X. Wlodarek.

On March 31, 1951, she married Edwin C. Mendlikowski in South Bend. He passed away on October 10, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary A. Mendlikowski; a grandson, Gavin; and by her brother, Donald Wlodarek. She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Kenneth) Graham of Niles; four grandchildren, Timothy Jansen of Naperville, IL, Scott Mendlikowski of South Bend, Kari Smith of Osceola and Shari King of Niles; five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Morgan, Kaylee, Kaleb and Faith; and by her sister, Dolores Billisitz. The family would especially like to thank the nurses and staff on the 6th floor of the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 7301 Georgetown Road, Suite 112, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
