Joseph John Mesaros

February 7, 1905 – September 1, 1990

Joseph John Mesaros, 85, of 1718 N. Eclipse Place, died at 11:55am Saturday in St Joseph’s Medical Center.  He retired as a general foreman from Bendix Corp, Mishawaka Plant, in 1970 after 45 years of service.

Born February 7, 1905, in South Bend, he was a lifelong resident.  On November 24, 1927, in South Bend, he married Celia M. Higbee, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Sandra K. Warren and Judith J. Kristoff, both of South Bend; three sons, Loren J, William R and Glenn S, all of South Bend; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  Mr. Mesaros was a member of Bendix Old Timers’ Club.

Services will be at 10am Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.  Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call form 4 to 8pm Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St Joseph County.
