Donna J. Messmore

April 4, 1921 – March 18, 1993

Donna Jane (Burgener) Messmore, 71, of York Road, died of natural causes at 6:40am today in her home.  Mrs. Messmore retired from St Joseph’s Medical Center after 28 years of service.

She was born April 4, 1921, in Nappanee and lived in South Bend for 45 years, coming from Indianapolis.  She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Berry and Judy Cantwell, both of South Bend, and Janet Hamman of Lake Bruce IN; a son, Dennis of Warsaw; four grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Gilbert of Fairfield Glade TN.

Services will be at 11am Saturday in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E Jefferson Blvd.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Friday in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St Joseph County Inc.
