SOUTH BEND - Jean Kay Metzger, 72, of Indiana 23, died at 10:20 a.m. Monday in Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Miss Metzger was a former assembler for Logan Industries. She was born Oct. 21, 1923, in South Bend. She is survived by a sister, Mary Lou Smith of South Bend; a niece, Gail S. Olds of Warsaw; and a nephew, Alan J. Smith of Orlando.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Logan.
