Mishawaka – Joseph A. Michele, 59, of 114 Towle Avenue, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Dunlap, Ind. He was employed at the Ball Band plant of the U.S. Rubber Co. for 41 years. He was born in Toluca, Ill, and he lived here in the Mishawaka area since 1924.

 

He married the former Florine Ferrettie, who survives, on July 1, 1950 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving besides his widow are a daughter Mary E., at home; three brothers, Frank and Tony, both of Mishawaka and John, Osceola, and two sisters, Mrs. Dominic Beechelli, Phoenix Ariz., and Mrs Phillip Stemes, Mishawaka.

 

Friends may call after noon Monday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the DeAmecis Club and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are incomplete

Mishawaka - Funeral services for Joseph A. Michele, 59, of 114 Towle Ave., who died Saturday, will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Very Rev. Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home and the rosary will be recited there at 8:45 p.m. today.
