Mrs. Cletus W. Michels

Mrs. Cletus W. Michels, aged 37, of 306 East Grove street, died at 8:15 a.m. today in her home.  She had been ill six months.  Mrs. Michels was born March 16, 1900, in Almont, Mich., and came here four years ago from Edwardsburg, Mich.  As Miss Cleytie Farrington she was married July 5, 1920, in South Bend to Mr. Michels, who survives.  Surviving also are her mother, Mrs. Laura Farrington, Edwardsburg; a son, Wilfred, at home; a daughter, Catherine, at home; two brothers, Leo W. Farrington and W.D. Farrington, both of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Mazie Stanfield, San Francisco, Calif.  Mrs. Michels was a member of the Rosary society of St. Monica’s Roman Catholic church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Monica’s Roman Catholic church for Mrs. Cletus W. Michels, aged 37, of 306 East Grove street.  Rev. Anthony Badina, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery.  Until the funeral the body may be viewed in the home of Ralph M. Howland, 807 North Main street.
