SOUTH BEND - Frank G. Mihocza, 79, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 12:07 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at the Plymouth Country Club, Plymouth, IN, from a heart attack while playing golf with his three special friends with whom he had been golfing for over 50 years. He was born on January 9, 1931, in South Bend, IN, to Frank and Helen (Fodor) Mihocza. Frank is survived by his companion, Dolores "Dee" Zambo, with whom he made his home; nephew, Terry DeMien of WVa.; nieces, Cindy Hansen of WI and Debbie Noethen of FL. Frank was a lifelong area resident. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Frank retired from Robertson's Department Stores after 20 years of service in sales. He loved playing golf. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the services. Contributions in memory for Frank G.
