SOUTH BEND - Barbara A. Millaway, 69, residing in South Bend, IN, passed away at 11:09 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN. She was born August 2, 1940, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Robert L. and Irene (Holschen) Daugherty. She retired as a lifelong accountant, living in South Bend the past 13 years. Barbara is survived by one son, Scott (Theresa) Millaway of South Bend; three grandchildren, Tyler and Kalie Sult, and Chelsea Millaway; one sister-in-law, Bea Daugherty of St. Louis, MO; one nephew, Mark (Denise) Daugherty of St. Louis, MO; and four great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Daugherty, in August 2009. Funeral services for Barbara will be at 6:00 p.m. today, January 14, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where friends may visit two hours prior to the services.
