OSCEOLA - Althea ``Marie'' Miller,
77, of 1120 Roger St., died at 10:34 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph
Hospital, Mishawaka. Mrs. Miller was employed by Avon as a sales
representative. She was born Aug. 27, 1916, in Miami County,
Ind., and moved to Osceola in 1944 from South Bend.
On Dec. 30, 1939, in Plymouth, as Althea
Seitner, she married John E. Miller. He died in December 1989.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Cox of Osceola; four
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Richardson
of Wolcottville. A son, Kenneth, preceded her in death in 1946.
Mrs. Miller was a member of Mishawaka Women of the Moose 0098 and
Mishawaka Eagles Lodge. She was the 5th District Democratic
Committee member.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in
Warner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery,
Roann, Ind. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday
in the funeral home.
