Mrs. Catherine Miller, 78, of 3008 Pleasant St., was dead on arrival at St. Joseph Hospital at 5 p.m. Sunday after suffering a heart attack in her home. She was born on June 28, 1882 in Jay County, near Portland, Ind. She was married to David Miller, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Surviving are three sons, Victor of Clearwater, Fla., Linford of South Bend and Marvin of Bremen; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Albertsmeyer and Miss. Marie Miller, both of South Bend; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two brothers, David Almstutz of Mishawaka and Noah Almstutz of Fort Recovery, O.
Friends may call in the Huff Funeral Home, Bremen, after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bremen, with Rev. John F. Kutz, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call in the church from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral.
