SOUTH BEND - Dorothy E. Miller, 60,
of 517 E. Milton St., died early today in Ironwood Health &
Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Mrs. Miller was employed
by South Bend Toy Co. as an assembly person. She was born Dec.
30, 1933, in South Bend.
In 1956, in South Bend, she married Onnie
Miller. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a son,
Daniel of Alabama; one grandchild; a sister, Marian Koch
of Mishawaka; and four brothers, Leonard Alford, Lawrence
Alford, and Carl Alford, all of South Bend, and Gerald Alford of
Edwardsburg. A son, John, died in 1977.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2
p.m. Wednesday in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Guisinger Colonial
Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
