Nov. 12, 1960 - July 30, 1999

Lory Sue Miller-Duckworth, passed away on July 30, 1999, following an illness in Oakland, Calif., where she lived with her husband, David, who survives.

Lory was the daughter of Dr. Sam and Anna Miller of 16428 Petro Drive, Mishawaka, Ind., who also survive. Other survivors include her four brothers, their wives and children: Rick and Maureen (Matthews) Miller and their three children, Meeghan, Sam David and Billy Miller; Craig and Debbie (Six) Miller and their two children, Gabriel and Josiah Miller, Scott and Michele (Mrozinski) Miller and son, Scotty; Clark and Katrina (Grimm) Miller and their three children, Kierstin, Mitchell and Chandler Miller. All live in the Mishawaka area.

Lory was born on Nov. 12, 1960, in Mishawaka and graduated from Penn High School in 1979. She attended I.U. and worked in her father's dental office before moving to Caliifornia in 1981. There, she also worked as a dental assistant and manager. She also took training to become a dance therapist. She eventually met David and they were married on Dec. 24, 1993 in Eureka, Calif.

There will be a memorial service in her honor on Aug. 28, 1999, at 2 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church of Christ, 320 E. Fourth St., Mishawaka. All are invited to enjoy a meal and fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Logan Center, 1235 N. Eddy St., South Bend, Ind., in Lory's name and will be greatly appreciated.
