Mrs. Hazel Miller, 85, of South Bend,
passed away Sunday morning in her residence. Mrs. Miller was born
July 5, 1912, in Bremen, to Earl and Zulo (Stump) Bellman.
She was married to Henry Miller on Feb. 22,
1940. He died in 1982. She is survived by her daughters, Julia Vanosdol
and Linda Jorgenson of Elkhart, Ind.; three sons, Bert
Miller of Franklin, Tenn., Larry Miller of Warsaw, Ind., and
Donald Bellman of Elkhart; five grandchildren, Kim Schreckengost,
Kevin Kuhl, Adam Vanosdol, Brian and Lisa
Jorgenson; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Reaker
of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Harold and Glen Bellman of
Nappanee, Ind. Two brothers, Roy and Clarence Bellman, preceded
her in death. Mrs. Miller retired from First Source Bank in 1978,
after 15 years service.
She was a member of St. Paul's Memorial United Methodist Church, where memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8. The family will greet friends after services. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, St. Joseph County Cancer Society or Hospice of St. Joseph County. Welsheimer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
