MISHAWAKA - Wesley E. Mills, 85, of Tanglewood Trace Retirement Center, formerly of 2904 Hickory Road, died at 10 a.m. Saturday in Healthwin Hospital. Mr. Mills retired from Smith-Zeisz Co. Inc. in 1979 as a Realtor. He was born March 17, 1908, in Macy, and moved to Mishawaka in 1927 from Rochester.

On Nov. 30, 1929, in Mishawaka, he married Annabel Priest. She died in October 1990. Surviving are two sons, James Wesley and Thomas L., both of Niles; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a brother, Ira G. of South Bend. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ of South Bend, St. Joseph Masonic Lodge 45, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend and was a 20-year Red Cross volunteer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, where Masonic services will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Red Cross.
