Violet Pascoe Miners

SOUTH BEND - Violet Pascoe Miners, 92, of 1831 Farnsworth Drive, died at 8 p.m. Saturday in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Miners was a clerical worker at the former Wyman's Department Store. She was born Sept. 9, 1902, in Cornwall, England, and lived in South Bend since 1924.

 

On Nov. 20, 1924, in South Bend, as Violet Rundle, she married Lewis A. Pascoe. He died March 23, 1958. On July 8, 1961, in South Bend, she married Francis J. Miners. He died Aug. 29, 1968. She is survived by two grandsons, Paul L. Geiger and Patrick Geiger, both of Granger; and four great-grandchildren. A daughter, Suzanne Geiger, died Aug. 31, 1981. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 2.

 

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call two hours before services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society of St. Joseph County.
