Mrs. Carl Modory
   Mrs. Ethel Modory, age 55, 1622 South Pulaski street, died Friday night at 9 o'clock in Epworth hospital following a nine weeks illness resulting from cerebral hemorrhage. She was born May 14, 1874, a native of Hungary, and came to South Bend nine years ago from Indiana Harbor, Ind. Twenty years ago she was married to Carl Modory, who survives. She is also survived by three children, Mrs. Carl Hirshler and Mary and Carl, jr. of this city; three brothers, Julius, of Hammon, Ind., Charles, of Chicago, and John, of Hungary, and a sister, Mrs. Pagett, of South Bend. The body may be viewed in the residence.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Modory, of 1622 South Pulaski street, who died Friday, will be held at 2 O'clock Monday afternoon in the Hungarian Presbyterian church, with the pastor, Rev. Daniel Bodor, officiating. Burial will be Highland cemetery.
