Sept. 28, 1932 - April 8, 2001

Betty Lou Moore, 68, of Dale Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Sunday, April 8, in Saint Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka.

Mrs. Moore was born on Sept. 28, 1932, in Sullivan, Ind., as the daughter of George and Pauline (Fifer) Goodman. On July 17, 1950, in Indianapolis, Ind., she married Max Moore. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of 50 years, Max; her mother, Pauline Goodman Kruse of Dugger, Ind.; one daughter, Vickie Hazen of South Bend; one son, Steven (Debra) Moore of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Eric L.W. Hazen, Amie Jo Hazen, Jennifer M. Moore, Angie A. Sessler and Steven M. Moore; four great-grandchildren, Eric L.W. Hazen Jr., Jakob C. Hazen, Brandie R. Rohrer and Bradley J. Rohrer; one brother, Bob Goodman of Sullivan; and by a sister, Norma Meeks of Dugger.

Mrs. Moore was employed by the South Bend Medical Foundation as a lab tech and retired in 1994 after 26 years. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie #2083, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, April 11, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, in the Hahn Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen Carr will officiate, and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
