Sister Elizabeth Moore (Sister Mary Lucian) CSC, 58, of Holy Cross Hospital, San Fernando, Calif., died Saturday in Holy Cross Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was born on Oct. 28, 1925 in Atlanta, Ga., as Helen Elizabeth Moore., and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s on Feb. 11, 1946. She was received as a novice on Aug. 15, 1946 and two years later made her professional vows. She was assigned to teaching in elementary schools, serving intermittently from 1948 to 1967 in the South Bend area at Holy Cross, St. Joseph and Christ the King schools. She also taught in LaPorte, and Elkhart in Indiana; Davenport, Iowa; Flint, Mich.; and Chicago, before being assigned in 1973 to Lancaster and Fresno in California.

 

Services are being scheduled in the Mission Church in San Fernando, Calif., with burial in Mission Cemetery, there.
