Mary Moraschi

Feb. 17, 1886 – May 12, 1957

Mrs. Frank Moraschi, 209 W. 10th St., a resident of Mishawaka for 39 years and mother of City Councilman Vincent Moraschi, died at 3:35 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital following an illness of three months.

 

Mrs. Moraschi was born in Pilaro, Provence Piacenza, Italy, on Feb. 17, 1886. 

 

As Mary Molinari she married Mr. Moraschi Feb. 9, 1907 in Chicago.

 

Surviving, in addition to her husband and the city councilman, are another son, Louis, of Mishawaka; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Carabini, of Riverside, Calif., seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Friends may call after 6:30 p.m. today at the De Vos Chapel and until the time of services at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  The Very Rev. Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Catholic Cemetery. 

 

The rosary will be recited in the funeral chapel at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Frank Moraschi, 209 W. 10th St., who died Sunday afternoon, will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Catholic Cemetery. 

 

Friends may call at the De Vos Chapel and the rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. today. 

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Louis Minotti, Mrs. Victor Vernasco, Mrs. Primeta Spalazzi, Mrs. Telesford Ferrettie, Mrs. Vincent Badagnani and Mrs. Estrella DePaepe. 

 

Acting pallbearers will be Tellesford Ferrettie, Vincent Badagnani, Frank Spalazzi, Guido Ferrettie, Victor Vernasco and Henry Ferrettie.
