NEW CARLISLE - Sandra J. Morgan, 56, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend after a courageous battle with cancer. Sandra was born on Aug. 28, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana, to Robert D. and Joyce (Dizmang) Leiter Sr. She was a homemaker and a consultant for Creative Memories.

On Oct. 4, 1969, Sandra married Gary Morgan, who survives. Surviving with her husband are her daughter, Gina (Tod) Kamleiter of Cedar Lake, Indiana; her grandchildren, Chelsey, Cassie, Brianna, Emily and Danielle; her mother, Joyce Leiter of New Carlisle, Indiana; her brother, Robert (Pat) Leiter Jr. of Mishawaka, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Sandra enjoyed all types of crafts including ceramics, painting and photography, to name only a few. She was an expert with anything related to crafts.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 South Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, with burial to follow at New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 601 West Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
