Angelo L. Moriconi

Mishawaka - Angelo L. Moriconi, 56, of 604 W. 14th St., died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, a week after he underwent heart surgery there. He had been ill for two months. He was born in Alatri, Italy, on Dec. 13, 1917. He came to Mishawaka from Alatri in 1956.

 

He married Maria Cardinali in Altari on Sept. 21, 1940. She survives with a son Frank Moriconi of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Urick of Hammond; a brother Nazzareno Moriconi of Italy; two sisters, Mrs. Luigi Gizzi of Mishawaka and Sister Beniga Moriconi of Rome, Italy, and three grandchildren.

 

His uncle, Angelo P. Moriconi, also of Mishawaka, died here on Feb. 12.

 

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday in the DeVos Funeral Chapel, where arrangements are being completed. He was employed by the Skyline Corp., Elkhart, and was a member of the DeAmicis Club and St. Joseph Church.

Funeral services for Angelo L. Moriconi, 56, of 604 W. 14th St., who died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, after open-heart surgery 2 weeks earlier, will be held at 19 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Church. Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and all day Monday in the DeVos Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
