Mrs. Alta J. Morris
   Mrs. Alta J. Morris, 75, of 1921 Wendy Lane, Poland O., a former resident of South Bend, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday in the Southside Hospital in Poland. She was born on July 13, 1886, in Berrien County and moved from South Bend to Poland in 1956. On Sept. 7, 1905, in Benton Harbor she was married to Cornelius J. Morris, who died in 1950. Surviving are two sons, William of Oklahoma City and James of Ridgewood, N. J.; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Walsh of Poland and Mrs. Joanne Snoke of Cranston, R. I., and 14 grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Clair Siple, pastor of St. Paul's Memorial Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. . Mrs. Morris was a member of St. Paul's Memorial Methodist Church, Chapter 2, Order of Eastern Star, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem 10.

MORRIS- Pallbears for the services today of Mrs. Alta J. Morris, 75, of Poland, O. a former resident of South Bend, who died Tuesday were Carl V. Johnson, James Clo--ngh (?), O. A. Fulkerson and Kenneth Clauson. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
