Jan. 18, 1915 - May 26, 2002

Cecilia Mroczkiewicz, 87, of Elmer Ave., South Bend, died Sunday, May 26, 2002 at 7:22 a.m. at St. Joseph Care Center.

She was born January 18, 1915 in New Carlisle, IN and was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Grzympczynski) Kush. Cecilia married Florian Mroczkiewicz who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was one son, Richard Mroczkiewicz, one grandson; Christopher Mroczkiewicz, one great-grandson; Bryan Przybylski, one brother; Bert Kush, and one sister; Lillian Michalak.

She is survived by two daughters; Genevieve (Robert) Rathwick of South Bend, Susanne (Karl) Weigand of San Diego, CA, twelve grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Cecilia was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. She retired from Robertsons of South Bend, IN after many years of service.

Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002 at the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 825 S. Mayflower Road, where there will be a rosary said at 6 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2002 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
