From the Daily Tribune of Saturday-
Sister M. Mt. Carmel, whose worldly name was Annie Hayes, died in St. Mary’s infirmary Thursday night after an illness of nine months, aged 55 years, 11 months and one day.
Sister Mt. Carmel for many years had been a music teacher in St. Mary’s academy.
The funeral was held this morning from St. Mary’s chapel with burial in the community cemetery.
